You already know why we're playing. In the last legislative session alone, South Carolina lawmakers filed H.5501 calling on the Supreme Court to reverse marriage equality, passed H.4756 into law, and moved S.1095 out of committee. The stakes are not theoretical. Neither is our response.

Equality Royale is how we fund the next twelve months of it — the coalition work, the State House presence, the legal analysis, the phone calls that get returned. Every buy-in, every hand you play, every cigar you light on the patio is a chip in the pot.
